Hi,

I brought a refurbished dual CPU module for my Octane, but when I received
it, it didn't worked :( The seller assured me he tested it before packaging
and sending it...

So I opened the module and I noticed the voltage regulator VR1 was snatched
from the PCB, and some tracks around were taken off the PCB !

I tried to resolder the VRM but the damaged tracks are too thin to be
restored (by the way I failed to repair it...)

I tested both CPUs on my original single CPU board, and they are OK, so the
problem is located only on the PCB... So I'd like to find a working PCB for
dual Octane CPU !

the P/N of the board is 030-1356-001 rev K

Thanks in advance !

Depending on the depth of damage, maybe tracks could be rewired with the
right tools, very thin wire and soldering iron, lens, SMD tools... You could ask
for this kind of help at an university's microlectronics department, pay a
skilled student much less than a private repair company.
