man prtvtoc
man vh
man dvhtool

You have to copy some files into the disk volume header, example:

obiwan 1# prtvtoc
Printing label for root disk

* /dev/root (bootfile "/unix")
* 512 bytes/sector
Partition Type Fs Start: sec Size: sec Mount Directory
0 xfs yes 4198400 139175600
1 raw 4096 4194304
8 volhdr 0 4096
10 volume 0 143374000

obiwan 2# dvhtool
Volume? (/dev/rvh)

Command? (read, vd, write, or quit): vd
(d FILE, a UNIX_FILE FILE, c UNIX_FILE FILE, g FILE UNIX_FILE or l)?
l

Current contents:
File name Length Block #
sgilabel 512 2
ide 266752 3
sash 266752 524
IP30prom 879616 1045

(d FILE, a UNIX_FILE FILE, c UNIX_FILE FILE, g FILE UNIX_FILE or l)?
q

Command? (read, vd, write, or quit): quit
