Hello all,

I'm interested in buying a Panasonic SCSI DVD-RAM drive. I'd like to use
it with mit SGI O2+. I have installed Irix 6.5.24 and the necessary
DVD-RAM patches.
What good/ bad experiences have you made with IRIX and DVD-RAM in
general and/ or especially with a Panasonic SCSI DVD-RAM drive under IRIX?

Dunno about O2+, but 2 of these didn´t work from scratch in Fuels here.
IRIX 6.5.22 with UDF support... both were replaced with Toshiba drives,
now everything is fine.
